A variety of statements on education policy have been issued since the founding of new China, only ending up with the constant core, i.e. to cultivate our students to be ideal type. Whereas, as is the government pushing compulsory education to be in balance, changing the one-mode of school-running, and cultivating talent with distinct personality and high quality, understanding of student culture is unavoidable and importance should be attached to it. School days are swift and moldable for students to develop. As members of the society, students have their own conception, feelings and personality. As learners, students take their own initiatives to gain education; therefore, school education plays a dominant role. Under such circumstances, the research on student culture is helpful for schools to carry out educational and teaching activities according to the reality, and also effective to improve the quality of education. The research is undergone from five aspects: study, after-school life, school activities, interpersonal relationship, idol and ideal. Based on the findings, analysis is made on the classification, characteristics and influential factors of student culture. The relevant factors, such as schools, parents, partners and society, coexist and co-work. Simultaneously, the side-effect of society, the deviant goals of school education, the impropriety of family education, the underdevelopment of Junior high school students’ mental health, and the inadequacy of their judgment, even make things worse. Solutions are hoped to be figured out from school management system, carry-out of moral education activities, construction of students’ clubs and associations, and coordination between teacher culture and student culture.
