Training skilled talents for modern manufacturing is the core task of practical base, which is the important force to realize manufacturing modernization. Numerical control technology and numerical control equipment is the important basis for the modernization of manufacturing industry. In order to accelerate process of numerical control equipment, raise the level of machine manufacturing and meet the growing demand of the high skills CNC talents for enterprise, NC Training Base and Engineering Training Center have been built in many vocational college and large-scale manufacturing enterprises. However, because of the NC enclosure, NC machine tool of different manufacturer are lack of integration and sharing ability, which leads to the severe "the information isolated island" problem. At the same time, important information and resources such as NC program, system parameters and machine state, cannot share each other. So, the reform trends of mechanical higher vocational education is to build modern manufacturing technology training platform based on network manufacturing, to integrate current equipment resource, to improve education effect of manufacturing talents and provide talents support for manufacturing transformation and upgrading.In this paper, the author studies and compares the machine tool’s scheme of interconnection based on the actual situation of a national vocational and technical college NC base, which posses Fanuc numerical control system and central china numerical control system. Based on network manufacturing modern training platform, the EC 104 DNC intelligent terminal and industry ethernet control technology is introduced to realize the DNC integrated control of ethernet connecting and machine tools for isomeric CNC system. Based on plotting the network topologic structure of CNC machine and completing hardware installation, debugging, operation test, and combined with the need of culturing high technical talents, secondary development of management system software was carried out. The problem of the data’transportation and sharing for NC programs, system parameters, tool parameters, etc. between machine and machine, machine and design studio, are resolved. The self-development function modules of NC competition and practical teaching evaluation can effectively achieve the CAD/CAM software applications, digital process design, CNC programming and other integrated skills training and testing, which can effectively prevent students from cheating and help to improve the effectiveness of training and equipment management for NC base.
