Exercises is an organic component of teaching, and it is the combination of teaching and learning and it is also a common practice of students about learning knowledge, developing thinking, and the ability of the cultivation. However, as the project of teaching, it is often be ignored. For a long time, it does not have any change.The class exercises as subsidiary, when necessary, it is used, or we deal with it as little and possible. The language problem is traditionally monotonous way of speaking, reading and writing, heavy machinery and training, students waste a lot of time and low efficiency. According to the above problem, this paper on the basis of predecessors’ research, first introduces the present situation of the current high school art students’ Chinese language teaching, points out a series of problems of designing the high school art students’exercises, clarifies the necessity of to optimize the design of the exercises of art students. Then outline the goal of designing the Chinese exercises, on the basis of Chinese exercises type design reform idea is put forward, and at last put forward the strategies of the optimization of high school art students’exercises problem.In the macro guidance, Chinese teacher should change their sense=Don’t make the homework as the only way of testing the students’ ability. On the contrary, we should care about the quantity of exercise so that we can make the exercise play an important role in our teaching. At last, we can make it true.
