| Against the background of the new curriculum reform, with more and moreemphasis laid on math exercises, the optimization of exercises in middle school mathclasses has become the focus of research, which is also the topic of this article. Theresearch on optimizing math exercises can not only improve the learning quality of themiddle school students, but also be of significance to the future teaching work.Aimed at overcoming the drawbacks of the traditional math exercise classes andcombined with the teaching concept of the new curriculum, this study carries outresearch on the practice of math exercise classes so as to explore the experience andmethods of improving the teaching of math exercise classes, providing a theoreticalbasis for future teaching work. This study employs a combination of qualitative researchand quantitative research and it mainly adopts the following methods to carry outresearch, such as literature research, survey, comparison, observation and interviews.By analyzing the research on math exercise classes in senior high schools, we haverealized some problems and deficiencies of the traditional teaching activities of exerciseclasses, which are also important factors that hold back the smooth development ofmath teaching, For example, the exercise classes have not aroused enough attentionamong math teachers, who still consider them as a complement to teaching contents.What’s more, in terms of teaching design, there still exist some problems in exerciseclasses, the teaching way is unitary and the teaching content is out of date. All theseproblems indicate that during the process of teaching practice, the exercises are notmade the most of. Instead, they increase students’ study burden and reduce their studyefficiency. By researching various teaching theories and handing out the questionnaires,the author has a preliminary understanding of the basic learning situation of the studentsin exercise classes, and put forward a plan on the optimization of exercise class teaching,which includes six aspects, such as constructing the basic concept of math, establishinga new teaching mode, transforming teaching methods etc. The practice proves that theoptimization of exercise classes effectively raises students’ interest in study, realizes theingenious combination of the advantages of traditional teaching classes and the concept of the new curriculum, enhances the teaching vitality and suits the requirements ofboth the quality-oriented education and the new curriculum. |
