"About deepening education reform and comprehensively promote quality education decision" to make clear a regulation to improve the quality of the students is the focus of education, it also constitutes one of the main goals of talents cultivation, in it, physical education is one of the main content, the elementary school sports curriculum standard for physical education teaching direction, namely in the physical education teaching pays attention to the common development of students’ physical and mental quality. Rural primary school sports development and primary school students has a direct relationship between the psychological quality training, this is because the elementary school sports as a kind of activity curriculum with a nature of competition, can stimulate interest in elementary school students to participate in, to make it in the process of voluntary exercise yourself overcome difficult, constancy, and unremitting willpower, and feel the strength of the collective in the process of its cooperation, brave spirit and the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance will be gradually trained based on this, which to a certain extent, to correct some of the one-child aloof, selfish, don’t fit in with the adverse psychological, as its solid foundation of all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique.In this paper, the shingling county north early school district as an example, there are 200 elementary students who are in 3 ~ 6 grade called object design questionnaire, and according to the identity of the respondents associated with study design project, this study also organize interviews, corresponding added to the questionnaire survey. The article content is divided into four parts. The first part of the introduction, mainly from the research background, research purpose and significance, literature review, research methods and ideas, and so on; The second part of the relevant concept definition and related research. From the rural primary school physical education, primary school students psychological quality and the new curriculum standard requirement for elementary school physical education and the importance of elementary school physical education to the student body and mind development,the essay discusses the three aspects;In third part, the author studied the situation of sports course in Bei Zao Xian district primary school which located in Zhengding County. The author summarized the situation and analyzed the result from the four perspectives, inclu ding the situation of Bei Zao Xian district, the situation of sports course in Bei Zao Xian distri ct primary school, the investigating process and the reasons caused students’ psychological pr oblem. In the fourth part, the author studied the measures and effect sports teaching mode in Bei Zao Xian rural primary school. Also the author developed this study from the three following perspectives: the improvement of existing sports teaching mode, the intervention measure s which produced from the improvement of sports teaching mode to students psychological qu ality training, and the effects which were produced from the improvement of sports teaching mode to students’ improvement of their psychological health.This paper argues that: in the current practice of elementary school physical education, to improve the current physical education curriculum teaching mode, to culture the students’ psychological quality intervention measures aspects emphatically, and constantly improve the rural primary school sports in the role of students’ mental quality education, so as to provide strategies for reference.
