A Research On The Teachers' Concepts Of School Psychological Health Education In Primary And Middle School Of Jinjiang

This thesis is about the research on the teachers concepts in School Psychological Health Education (SPHE) according to the questionnaire which consists of seven aspects of SPHE: the purpose, the executives , the targets , the methods , psychological consultation , its relations with moral education and the effect . On inspection, this questionnaire proved to be of high reliability and validity. Under investigation, we found that the teachers both in primary and middle schools in JinJiang City have got lower cognition in these two aspects the methods of SPHE and its relations with moral education. To sum up. the average level of congnition of the teachers in middle schools is higher than that of the teachers in primary schools. We also found that those teachers with high educational level have better congnition in SPHE than those with lower educational level,yet they know more of the methods but less of the effect of SPHE.Based on the above mentioned, we suggest that the teachers in our city should make the SPHE more scientific , aimful and actual effective, and pay more attention to overcoming the shortcomings. such as onesided view, moralizing and formalism. Furthermore, the teachers should attach great importance to the widespread of SPHE in Primary schools. During the advanced educational training to the teachers, the methods of SPHE and its relations with moral education should be more mentioned. Those who have high educational level should also improve their congnition to the effect of SPHE and take active part in SPHE. The Training Organizations should focus on the improvement of the primary schools teachers concept of SPHE and raise the ability of the teachers both in primary and middle schools in the field of School Psychological Health Education.
