Chemical experiment is an important way for students obtaining chemical knowledge as well as an important means of training students’ scientific literacy, therefore chemical experiment plays an extremely important role in middle school chemistry education. Chemical workers commit to the research of the chemical experiment in recent years, the new curriculum has lifted the status of chemical experiment to an unprecedented height, many schools also pay enough attention to the study of chemical experiment. Nevertheless, most of middle schools in rural area fail to get rid of traditional chemical experiment education mode really for various reasons, they still adopt the mode of teachers telling experiment, students reciting. Through studying of present situation of chemical experiment education in rural middle schools, the author proposes to blend chemical experiment education into new curriculum standard by making use of rural education and regional advantages, aiming to enhance students of comprehensive understanding of chemical experiment, in order to improve their comprehensive quality.This paper based on the place of my work area, through the form of a questionnaire investigation about the present situation of the middle school chemical experiment teaching, analyze the results and find the problem. There are six sections in this article: Section 1, the author carries on an analysis of significance of researching on chemical experimental education reforming in rural middle schools firstly, then carries on an elaboration of domestic situations of researches on the subject and summing up of related articles, and makes a short explanation to problems finally. Section 2, the author makes a simple explanation of related concepts in this subject and teaching objectives for chemical experiment education, making clear direction of teaching objectives. Section 3, started from textbook arrangement and the proportion of experiments in the college entrance examination, the author analyzes status and indispensability of experiments in the middle school chemistry education. Section 4,in order to know situation of experiment education in middle schools,the author conducts a questionnaire survey. Then the author analyzes survey results. Section 5, according to current situation of rural middle school education, the author puts forward train of reform from several aspects. Section 6, simple summary and bold outlook for rural middle school chemistry experiment education.
