Research On The Existing Problems And The Educational Countermeasures Of The Contemporary College Students’ Political Beliefs

Political belief education is an important content of contemporary college students’ ideological and political education, It is of great significance to strengthen the education of contemporary college students’ political belief and establish their correct lofty political belief. College students, as fresh blood of socialist development, are shouldering the important social mission and they represent the pace of the progress of society and the hope of the future of our motherland and nation in the process of the development of the society. With the development of our society, the contemporary college students’ political belief always represent the mainstream of The Times, leading the way forward. The mainstream of the contemporary college students’ political belief is good and right but it also appeared some problems at the same time. With the development of economy, people have ignored the spiritual pursuit while they meet their material and cultural needs. Some bad phenomena and so on have filled the life of college students, which have seriously influenced the contemporary college students’ firm marxist political beliefs, which also appeared the waver of marxist political beliefs, and a series of serious problems,so it exhibits a certain degree of missing in students’ politicai beliefs. There are many reasons for these problems. This paper has very important significance in researching the existing problems of the contemporary college students’ political beliefs,analyzing the reasons of the existing problems and putting forward specific countermeasures for education, developing socialist political civilization then realizing the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.This paper includes three parts.The first part of the paper, A general overview of the contemporary college students’ political beliefs. First it gives the definition of the political belief and the political belief of contemporary college students respectively and then analyzes the characteristics of contemporary college students’ political beliefs. It analyzes the effects of setting up the correct political beliefs on the basis of understanding of relevant concepts which are with guiding, cohesion and motivation. Finally it analyzes and study the importance of strengthening the education of contemporary college students’ political beliefs from three aspects: the state, individuals and schools. This part constitutes the theoretical premise of this paper.The second part the paper, It shows the problems existing in the contemporary college students’ political belief analyzes the problems on the basis of analyzing the causes of the problems. With the development of social economy and the change of social environment, in the mainstream development which is a good premise, the contemporary college students’ political belief appeared some problems: a certain degree of missing in students’ politicai beliefs, the firm belief of marxism begin to shake, the political belief become diversified utilitarian. The emergence of these problems seriously affected the shaping of the contemporary college students’ political belief and man’s all-round development. By analyzing the causes of these problems deeply, they can be summarized as the following aspects: the lack of traditional culture which make the influence of the infiltration of western values; some officials cadre corruption which reduced the government’s credibility; the ideological and political education for the political belief education have defects; the influence of family education to political influence, the influence of the college students’ own understanding fuzzy;which analyzes from the four aspects of the social, family, school and individuals.The third part of the paper is the focus which analyzes and explores the countermeasures comprehensively in strengthening the educating of contemporary college students’ political beliefs. To strengthen the education of contemporary college students’ political belief must first create a good social environment and a good campus culture atmosphere, to strengthen the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and promote social upright, to strengthen the construction of socialist national politics, then use the public opinion propaganda to cope with the challenge of "westernization" actively and build up a healthy campus environment, to strengthen the construction of campus Internet environment, and develop some activities with the theme of "China dream". At the same time to strengthen the main channel of ideological and political education function, innovate classroom teaching forms to improve education methods, actively carry out college students volunteer service activities, let students party members play their exemplary roles through practice to deepen the understanding of political belief of contemporary university students, put forward the arduous struggle spirit, conscientiously resist all kinds of bad thoughts both at home and abroad, and the erosion of decadent culture, strengthen the theory with practice, cultivate and practice the socialist core values.Anyway, basis of academic research in this paper based on previous research, Aiming at the problems of contemporary college students’ political belief and the causes of problems do a deep and thorough analysis, and put forward the feasible education countermeasures. Hope the research of this paper can cause the attention of colleges and universities, for the formation and development of college students’ political beliefs provide a good education system and education environment, so as to promote the development of college students’ political consciousness and the sense of responsibility.
