At present, our world is in an era of rapid change, education plays a more and more significant role in the social economy and the international competition, so many countries in the world put education in the priority development of the strategic position. The development of the country depends on education, and the development of education depends on teachers,thus people’s attention to education extends to the concern of teachers. Primary school education as the foundation of a country’s education system, its quality directly affect the quality of the education system, which affects the development of the whole country. Primary school teachers as a direct participant in primary school education activities, so the quality of primary school teachers are more and more attention from the community. How to cultivate the quality of primary school teachers? What type of primary school teacher preparation?These issues have become the focus of education reform in the world.At present, some developed countries in the world of primary schools adopt the all-subject-teaching teaching model, therefore, their primary school teachers are the teachers of the whole family. With the rapid development of China’s society, at present, the drawbacks of the branch teaching mode of primary school in our country begin to appear gradually, first,performance is not conducive to the healthy development of children’s physical and mental health, for example, the one-sided evaluation of children, is not conducive to the formation and development of children’s sense of unity; second, it is not adapted to the current primary education in rural areas of China. Due to the implementation of China’s family planning policy, the current rural primary school age children, coupled with the rural population living dispersion, resulting in some rural primary school "small class". In normal teacher and student ratio, a teacher is responsible for all the courses in one or even several grades.Although some normal universities in our country are trying to cultivate the model of the whole family, but the lack of experience is still in the exploration stage. Therefore, this paper hopes to study the model of general primary school teachers training in Michigan State University as the representative, in order to provide reference for preparing of primary school teachers in China. In this paper, the literature method, case method and historical method areused to study the preparation model of the all-subject-teaching elementary teacher in the United States in three ways.The main content of this paper consists of the introduction and four chapters.In the introduction part, mainly by the problem, research significance, literature review,the definition of related concepts, research methods and difficulties and innovation of six parts.First chapter mainly of American general elementary school teacher training mode are outlined, mainly included two parts, one is the general elementary school teacher preparation model of development, namely, the embryonic stage, development stage and mature stage three stages of development; second, the main categories of preparation model of primary school teachers in American general, namely a four-year model, "4 + 1" model and 5-year model to three categories.The second chapter mainly of Michigan State University all-subject-teaching elementary teacher preparation model has conducted the thorough research, respectively on the admission criteria, training objectives, curriculum, practice standards and teacher qualification certificate obtained for a detailed study.The third chapter mainly the general elementary school teacher in the Michigan State University culture features of the model are summarized, one is the strict entry criteria;second is specific and clear preparation objectives; curriculum strengthening the general type;four is to pay attention to the practice teaching; the fifth is to the concept of culture.The fourth chapter of the main content for Michigan State University all-subject-teaching elementary teacher preparation model of some enlightenment to our country. At the same time, combined with China’s current higher normal school in the recruitment and training links exist some deficiencies are summarized, one is to optimize the admission criteria; the second is further perfecting the training objectives; third is to strengthen the knowledge integration and balanced curriculum; fourth is to develop practice teaching strict standards, improve the teaching effect of practice; the fifth is to expand students’ learning autonomy, the formation of the concept of student. |
