Classification Scheme And Identify Model For Nuclear Family Types Based On The Full Population Database

In the view of Sociology and Anthropology, the main factor that influences family type is the marriage behavior of family members. According to generations, whether there exists siblings in parental generation, the changing characteristics of married members(death, divorce, emigration and flow) and the population mobility in filial generation, the author put forward a subdivision scheme which divided the nuclear family into four classes, 10 basic types. Based on the relational schema given by full population database, the author extract the household parameters and the generations parameters, and then build a model for identify the nuclear family types.Relying on the real-time data of the full population database in Hebei province on April 30 th, 2014, it indicate that all types of nuclear family have different distribution of geographical space:(1) The nuclear family accounted for 66.24%, the proportion of nuclear family population accounted for 65.60%, a high proportion of the nuclear family was found in the midwest of Baoding, Xingtai, Handan, the west of Zhangjiakou and the south of Qinhuangdao.(2) The conjugal nuclear family accounted for 26.25%, a high proportion of the conjugal nuclear was found in Qinhuangdao, Tangshan and Zhangjiakou, the proportion of the “empty nesters” is high in the localities with developed distinguishing industries; The age distribution of conjugal family illustrates that the “empty nesters” has a trend of becoming younger, a high proportion of older nuclear family was found in Tangshan, Cangzhou and Xingtai, a high proportion of younger nuclear family was found in Shijiazhuang, Chengde and Handan.(3) The two generations nuclear family accounted for 48.85%, a high proportion of the two generations nuclear family was found in Handan, Xingtai and Baoding; The offspring of nuclear family move away home relatively later, most of them are around 26 years old, only 4.19 percent live with their parents after age 35 years; The proportion of offspring under 30 years old accounted for 92.15%, it is estimated that the sex ratio of this age group is 117.29. It also found that one boy families accounted for 36.95% and one girl families accounted for 24.18%, two boys families accounted for 7.50% and two girls families accounted for 6.67%, one boy and one girl families accounted for 20.87%, three or more children families accounted for 3.53%.(4) The remained nuclear family accounted for 4.19%, A high proportion of the remained nuclear family was found in Xingtai, the south of Handan, the west of Baoding and the north of Chengde where are the most active area of population flowing in Hebei province.(5) The incompleted nuclear family accounted for 3.79%, A high proportion of the incompleted nuclear family was found in Zhangjiakou and Chengde where are the poorer regions in Hebei province.
