“The teacher, is to teach the truth and knowledge, answer students’ doubts.” Traditional teachers not only play a role in imparting knowledge, inheriting civilization, but also a profound knowledge, experience, moral noble, positive and motivated, rational and prudent model. Enter the era of industrialization, the definition of the teachers have a new interpretation : Trained by the organization of specialized personnel, promoting human scientific and cultural knowledge and work skills to the students, exercising the physical fitness of students and the students ideological and moral education, training students’ noble aesthetic sentiments, educating the community needs of the professional personnel of useful talents. In the 21 st century, with the rapid development and wide application of digital technology, the digital age has coming. New requirements of knowledge, students and teachers have been put forward by the digital age. Due to the teacher ties knowledge to the students, high quality teachers are one of the important factors in the success or failure of education. The improvement of teachers’ quality depends on the summary and sublimation of teachers’ practical experience, which requires teachers’ training to help teachers’ learning and promote the development of teachers’ professional development.The traditional teacher training has not adapted to the development of the times, teacher training is facing the transformation and upgrading in the digital age. Digital campus network construction and the promotion of universal Internet platform have brought the possibility for the digitization of teacher training. With the digital, primary and secondary school teachers’ training become more convenience for teachers’ professional development, and it has become one of the highly respected teachers’ training methods. This kind of new pattern compared with the traditional model, it has different characteristics and what are they? And how to better serve the professional development of teachers according to their characteristics?Based on Beijing Open University Development of famous digital training excellent project and Hebei Province the national training program(2015) "- Hebei Province Rural Primary and secondary school teachers’ training square project as cases, through the literature,research method, the interview method, participant observation method and the case of theresearch method. This paper attempts to summarize the new characteristics of teacher training under the guidance of theory. The main features of the digital teacher training are pertinence,openness, interactivity, instantaneity and relative authenticity.
