With the aim of encouraging the application of educational resources related to children’s life experience from all aspects, the "Guide of Learning and Development for Children Aged 3-6 " has been issued recently. Kindergarten should understand the link between the promotion of local culture with child development, in order to make full use local cultural resources. Let children observe with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts. Then, they will understand the ceramic art more and love their hometown more. However, the ceramic art has never been fully developed and utilized in the field of preschool education because of the lack of ceramic knowledge, the weak awareness of relative curriculum development and the limited degree of integration. Liling ceramic art, a significant local culture, contains ample educational resources, which should be fully utilized to enrich art education in kindergarten in terms of the reform of kindergarten curriculum.Cooperation Model in Action Research has been adopted in this study, that is to say, the study group is composed of a selected class from the kindergarten and the corresponding teacher. With the good preparation of interview outline, observation chart and program planning, the author cooperate with the A Kindergarten in Liling and conduct the Action Research.The thesis is divided into the following four parts:Part one mainly discusses why this topic is chosen and what is the significance of this research based on detailed data collection and review on theoretical basis and relative research topics.Part two is going to analyze the purpose,the location, the object, the participants, the methods and the procedures of this research.Part three discusses the actual practice of this study. The first is to enter research context and to communicate with teachers through interviews. The second is to conduct non-participatory and participatory observation on children with the implementation of teacher’s program. The third is to collect the feedbacks and discuss the problems and solutions with teachers.Part four is a discussion of the problems and phenomena in the entire course of the study after Action Research.Part five is a summary of the entire study and a conclusion of the author’s enlightenment and reflection.
