With the prevalence of outside-school training, increasing attention has been being paid to this phenomenon by personages from all circles in the society, consequently appearing abundant literatures studying the outside-school training, which has played a complementary role in the teaching of public school due to meet the demand in personalized and differentiating teaching to students conducted by outsideschool training.The theme of this study is the outside-school teaching activity in the middle school stage and the author has chosen the fastest- developing S training school in recent years in Changsha as studying object. Based on the teaching activity in English class of S school, and also has collected the teaching activity material of outside-school training through the way of observation and interviewing, getting to know the current state of outside-school training, summarizing the characteristics of its teaching activity, studying the demerits of the teaching activity of outside-school training.The thesis includes five parts : the first chapter expounds the reasons why the author has chosen this object,purpose and content of studying, the way and logic of studying, and has authenticated the core concepts, raised the studying meaning of this thesis and correspondingly conducted the summary of the literature from home and abroad. The second chapter has analyses the emerging reasons and the theoretical evidence of outside-school training. And the emerging reasons start mainly from politics economy culture the public school elements. The theoretical elements include the all- round development for human beings and one- one personalized teaching. The third chapter is to analyze the current teaching state in terms of teaching objective, curriculum and textbooks, ways of teaching, the pillar of teaching, the ways of organizing in the teaching and the teaching feed backs on the basis Of English class teaching of S school. The fourth chapter is that the author has analyzed the futures of its teaching activity on the basis of the obtained information, the analysis is to mainly study the mastery of knowledge, self- made textbooks, adoption of teaching ways in motivating students, small- sized class ETC. The fifth chapter is to contemplate its teaching activity from the angles of the teachers and outside-school training itself.
