Primary school teachers in rural areas contribute to the rural education. However, rural primary school teachers’ well-being is lower because all kinds of factors. So, paying attention to rural education and rural teachers is not only the problem of education but also a social problem. Using the method of investigation, this thesis researches the work status of primary school teachers in rural areas of Hunan Longhui county.Based on the survey on the current situation of rural primary school teachers’ well-being, we can understand rural school teachers living environment and psychological state. To do this to contribute a little for improving rural primary school teachers’ work, living conditions, professional development and their professional well-being.Through the investigation of 176 primary school teachers,it was shown that only 36.4 percent of teachers feel happy in their lives, and two thirds of the primary school teachers were not satisfied with their working and living conditions. There was lack of sufficient well-being. The reason for that was that well-being relates closely to working achievement, salary,working and living environment, working pressure, social status and interpersonal relationships. Low incomes, work intensity, poor working and living environment reduce happiness. Therefore, from the aspect of teachers themselves,they should correct their career motivation and values, lay emphasis on teacher’s moral cultivation, have a good mentality of education and actively engaged in the scientific research of education, which establish the foundation for teachers’ well-being. From the aspect of school management, leadersshould make correct assessment to teacher’s ability, plan the teaching courses reasonably, improve the conditions of teaching and living, ensure the material and spiritual benefits and create opportunities for teacher’s training to create an atmosphere of teachers’ well-being. From the aspect of society,it should create a good social environment for seeking the social support, establish expectations to the correct teacher’s role to build a space for teachers’ well-being. From the aspects of national policies, countries should increase the input of funds, protect rural primary school teachers’ lawful rights, set rules for supporting teachers’ professional training to ensure the rights of teachers’ professional well-being. Thus, well-being of county primary school teachers can be effectively enhanced.
