Children’s safety has already became the concerned social issues. Children are immature and lacking of self-protection, so,the accidental damages are becoming regularly in daily life.which may have a huge impact on children and their families. However,when taking about the security knowledge learning, the traditional way of learning tend to focus on books and instructive mode about safety education,but ignoring the interests and acceptable ability of the the children.As for about the real practice of effective self-protections are even less, so it is essential to find an effective way to help children to protect themselves.The Group Working is one of the important and effective way of social work, and it has important applications in different practice area. The aim of experiential concepts and methods in the group working is help the children through the way of interaction, experience, reflection and so on to gain knowledges and practices experience to form a self-protection group. its central feature is focus on experience, enhance the interaction, learning to share and cooperation.The author introduced the experimental group model into the self-protection activities, using the experiential learning theory and combining the children characteristics to completely design the children’s self-protection system,and applying the observation and research contents to the activities. The results shows that social workers and their members can basically finish the work according to the original design,besides, the extending experiential activities related to the theme also go well, the whole group activities are pretty good, the children which participating in the group show great enthusiasm. their self-protection and self-defense capabilities has been effectively improved and enhanced.
