In recent years,with the continuous reform of quality education model in China,students have more and more spare time.Rural children's spare time education,has drawn more and more attention.Relatively speaking,the educational resources and facilities in rural areas are limited,and the content of extracurricular activities is less.Using extracurricular time to carry out healthy and beneficial extracurricular activities for rural children plays an indispensable role in cultivating children's interests and promoting their healthy growth.This article mainly combines the author's internship experience in Village X,and uses group work methods to conduct practical research on the problems existing in children's after-school education in Village X.Through the questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview method,I went deep into the village to understand the existing problems in children's after-school education.Questions and real needs,then based on game theory and experiential learning theory,apply the contextual design of experiential learning to group activities,carry out the content of after-school education group activities that meet the diverse needs of children,and finally the overall effect of group work The assessment and summary were conducted,and the problems in practice were reflected.This study found that experiential group work can play an important role in rural children's after-school education,especially in improving rural children's ability to practice,interpersonal communication,training after-school interests and hobbies,and expanding learning horizons.However,since after-school education is a long-term problem,the problem cannot be solved fundamentally through only a few group activities.To this end,the author combined with the practical experience of this experiential group to propose relevant development of rural children's after-school education.The suggestions and countermeasures provide a reference for the practice and exploration of the group work in rural areas.
