Gymnastics is an siginificant component part of physical education in our country, and also occupies an important place in all levels of various school sports teaching contents, gymnastics teaching has been one of the important content of physical education, ever since the dawn of physical education curriculum in school sports of China. Since the new reform of basic education of sports course, physical education should set the guiding ideology of health first. Gymnastics has rich contents, various forms, and special projects, which can also promote students body, mind, and comprehensive health development that other sports is hard to replace. According to the basis of literature research and visiting survey, since the new round of basic education to promote physical education(and health) curriculum standard test, we found that basic educational schools in addition to the basic gymnastics teaching, light instrument gymnastics, the skill class, the instrument gymnastics and gymnastics to skip class projects has rarely developed, and the importance of gymnastics teaching to the basic educational schools has been declined year by year. Which is due to no specific provision in the new standard for sports teaching content. Therefore, this research topic mainly adopts literature, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and other research methods, based on the current situation of high school gymnastics teaching investigation and analysis in Linyi city, this paper sums up the factors of influence of the high school gymnastics teaching in linyi city, the conclusions are as follows:1. Since the curriculum implementation, most schools don not choose the Standard regulation of gymnastics module, PE teachers are not fully understanding of the true meaning of New Curriculum Standard, gymnastics teaching implementation is not ideal in Linyi city middle school, just be a few school gymnastics teaching module.2. The high school gymnastics teaching content is monotonous in Linyi city, and teaching methods and teaching mode too traditional. Through the investigation into the cognition of physical education to the student that most students like PE class, students learning are basically some ball games such as badminton, table tennis, basketball, most students do not prefound understand about the gymnastics and gymnastics effection. 3. By investigating the situation of high school physical education teachers in Linyi city, physical education teachers have mostly been special track and field, ball games, each school only a gymnastics special teachers on average, shortage of gymnastics teachers affect the development of middle school gymnastics teaching.4. Through the survey of field equipment, equipment is not perfect, and the old, no update equipment, is not conducive to the gymnastics teaching in middle school.5. School leaders do not take the sports teaching, sports spending invest very little. Finally, in view of the influence factors of high school gymnastics teaching in Linyi city, we put forward the corresponding countermeasures. Specific as follows: First, Attaches great importance to the improvement of teachers’ qualities, and promote the teachers’ educational concept and update knowledge system. Second, teachers propaganda exercise value, improve students’ understanding of gymnastics. Third, the teachers should change the teaching content of the single, inspire students’ positive learning motivations. The fourth, improving teaching methods and means, optimize the teaching evaluation system. At last, attaches great importance to strengthen leadership, and increase gymnastics teaching venues and equipment investment.
