Research On Index Of Family Development Abilities Of Anhui Province

As a basic cell to society and a warm harbor for everyone, family plays a significant role not only for people themselves but also for social development and even state’s prosperity. Chinese families have changed greatly since the implementation of the family planning policy and the change of population reproduction pattern:family size decreased, family function in caring parents and children weakened, and family structure diversified. Families with time features come in succession, such as special family planning family, floating population family, empty-nest elderly family, and left-behind children family. All the above problems severely hinder the development of Chinese family and meanwhile, family ability of risk-resistance declines. It is necessary to enhance family development ability currently.As a new concept put forward in recent years, family development ability is limited in the research today, and academic community has not begun the research on index of family development ability yet. According to the data of statistical yearbook in Anhui Province, this article, by adopting methods combining quantitative analysis with qualitative, reaches the qualitative index of family development ability of all cities in Anhui province and the general direction of the index in the region.The content of this article includes:Firstly, it gives elaboration on research background, purpose and meaning, concludes on the date of material from both aboard and at home, and introduces the research methods, approaches and novelty. Through literature review, there is no the concept and research of family development ability, only has the research of family policy and family function.; Secondly, introduces the current situation of family development in Anhui province, mainly on the basis of the people’s livelihood index survey data in Anhui province in 2014, from the family size, family members, level of education, family income, and family health care and pension.Thirdly, it establishes index system from 5 two-level indexes and 26 three-level indexes:economy development (Annual Per Income of Urban Residents; Annual Per Income of Farmers; Annual Per Expenditure of Rural Residents; Annual Per expenditure of Rural Farmers; Engel’s coefficient of Urban Families; Engel’s coefficient of Rural Families; Per Capital Deposit), population quality(Number of Women’s Average Live Births; Average Education Years; Occupancy of College and Higher Level; Illiteracy Ratio), living standard(Per Capital of Water Use; Days of Air Quality Equal to or Above Grade Ⅱ; Per Capital Housing Area of Urban Residents; Per Capital Housing Area of Rural Residents; Forest Coverage rate),social security(Proportion of Birth Insurance; Proportion of Unemployment Insurance; Proportion of New Rural Cooperative Medical System; Proportion of Basic Medical Insurance; Proportion of Town Worker Endowment Insurance;Proportion of Basic Endowment Insurance), and risk-resistance(the Population of Per Family; Divorce Rate; Going Out for Working of More Than Half a Year; the Rate of Registered Urban Unemployment). It is concluded that the weight of indexes at all levels by using entropy method. Fourthly, The conclusion of index of family development ability of all 16 cities in Anhui province and the general direction of the index in 2010-2014.and then it makes comprehensive analysis and comparison in different time and places by using the above index, and comes up with the conclusion that the family development index in Anhui needs to be improved immediately; The results show that a good economic foundation and abundant natural resources of cities, family development capability index is higher; Most of the northern cities and the agricultural cities’ family development ability index is lower; In 2010-2014, family development ability index is state of fluctuation trend. Finally, it draws conclusion on research result and provides feasible suggestions to the existing problems and the improvement of family development ability in Anhui.
