Political history is an important part of high school history teaching, mainly related to the political system in ancient China, the political system of modern western capitalism and the evolution of modern Chinese politics. The teaching of ancient Chinese political system is not only one of the important contents of the political history at high school, but also it is one of the important research areas in the history teaching. Because of One-Guideline-Multiple-Text, each place has different choices in edition of the textbook. But every version should follow History course standard for high school, and due to the difference in the content of the teaching material and student level, increasing the difficulty of teachers to deal with textbook of contents and making teachers confused about the teaching of this topic as well.Teaching research on the will be explored in the thesis, and then the thesis tells the characteristics of each version of its own. We should agree the suggestion that the pace of re- integration of teachers teaching would be speeded up. At the same time, some problems have been put forward in the teaching, which needs to be made rethink profoundly by us.Methods of literature research are mainly used to make a brief introduction on ancient Chinese political system, and using comparison analysis method to study structure and content of history textbook in high school. It also analyzes the characteristics of each edition, using the case method to study the history book of teaching contents and problems.Based on the above research, this paper draws the following conclusions:First, the reason why the way of presentation and column setting in textbook is that can make the student pay attention to them, and then giving rise to student’s thinking for them. Presentation mode occupies a predominant position in the textbook. Pictures as a learning aid, which accords with the physiological laws of high school students and the level of psychological development;Second, it is necessary to expand the teaching content of various teaching resources and to accelerate the speed of the compilation of new textbooks. The high school textbooks of the contents also need reintegrating, so that there is a relatively clear answer to the question in teaching;Third, there are problems in the teaching of high school history, such as teaching cohesion, inquiry activities, lack of emotion, and the reasons for these problems are analyzed. Mainly because of the large span between junior and senior high school, high school history textbook content of the required courses, class teaching task could not be completed; class time is limited, specific conditions do not have in our class; the contents of political civilization are so abstract that the emotional penetration expresses difficultly.
