The Study On Improving University Students’ Core Socialist Values Identification

Cultivating students’ core socialist values is an important task of ideological and political education in universities. And improving university students’ core socialist values identification is an important target of socialist core values in universities. This study on improving university students’ core socialist values identification is both a theoretical problem and a practical problem. Therefore, the research on this issue should have both theoretical analysis and empirical research. From the actual situation of this study, empirical research is still a stark fault line.In view of this, through the form of a questionnaire survey, this paper based on taking some universities in Liaoning province as the case, drawing some lessons from the research data of other provinces’, other colleges’ and universities’, analyzing the university students’ core socialist values by empirical perspective. This paper analyses the present situations for the college students’ core socialist values identification. From the whole, most of the college students’ core socialist values identification is in good condition: College students have the rich political emotions and distinct political attitudes. And at the same time, the recognition of the core socialist values is in good condition. Meanwhile, there are also some problems existing: College students are lack of the rational and strong political beliefs which are to be backed, and their misconceptions on the understanding of the socialist core values are still exiting, what is weakening the core socialist values. The reasons for these existing problems are social, school as well as family reasons, and also their own reasons. To solve these problems, we should take all kinds of effective measures from the society, the universities and the families and so on. In this way, we can improve the identification of the core socialist values of college students’.
