The Study On College Students’ Chinese Traditional Festival Culture Education

Xi jinping, the general secretary emphasized that: "Chinese culture is the most profound spiritual pursuit of the Chinese nation, is the life and growth in nature, the development and growth of the rich nourishment." Chinese traditional festival culture as an important part of Chinese traditional culture, not only has a profound cultural heritage, but also contains a wealth of excellent moral education resources. In recent years, with the development of economic globalization, a large number of western festivals were introduced into China and received the favor from college students. In view of this phenomenon, we must strengthen the college students’ education of Chinese traditional festivals, enhance students’ national confidence, firm university students to establish the ideal and belief of the Chinese dream, promote the construction of Chinese socialist cultural power.From actual conditions, this study based on the relevant theories of ideological and political education, mainly by the method of literature research and theory with practice, the topic for in-depth discussion.First of all, defines the related concepts of college students’ Chinese traditional festival culture education, analyzes the main connotation of Chinese traditional festival culture, characteristics and function of ideological and political education, this study expounds the strengthening of the meaning of Chinese traditional festival culture education on college students. Secondly, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the Chinese traditional festival culture education of college students, an analysis of the causes and the existing problems. Finally, propose the countermeasures of strengthening the education of Chinese traditional festival culture in college students, that is, play the leading role of the government to promote and inherit the traditional festival culture; play the role of main channel of traditional festival culture education in colleges and universities; improve the cultural quality of college students themselves.
