Group Social Work Intervention The Spiritual Needs Of The Urban Higher-education Elderly

China is the world’s most populous country, and one of the countries with the greatest number of elderly population. The problem of aging population and the attendant pension problem has become a hot issue in the country and society.But no matter in the social security system and pension issues in academic research, for elderly especially the spiritual demands of urban higher-education elders need to be improved.This article is based on the author’s experience,in Shenzhen warm social work service center to serve as post social worker in the Y community elderly day care center.And writing on the basis of the full investigation, analysis, master a large number of first-hand information.Firstly this article is using the way of questionnaire survey, through understanding the basic situation of the W group members,investigating the present situation of its higher-education elderly members’ daily life,and put the conventional group members as a miniature of the urban higher-education elderly population,to analysis the spiritual needs of the urban higher-education elders, such as social demand, the demand for knowledge, demand for self realization and so on.Secondly, according to the requirements of the evaluation results, select the appropriate social team work mode and work methods.Finally,design the team activity plan,recruit team members, and try to provide original designed group work service for group members.And help our group members learn "Meitu Xiu Xiu" software.This group, as a platform not only enhance member’s interaction and family’s interaction, and guide the formation of spontaneous groups to promote community participation.At the same time, assessment and reflection, in order to provide better service for the higher-education elderly group members.By practice research of "Beautiful life" learning group, the author found that as an important method in social work,group work is flexible and diverse,and also an effective way to solve the common problems of the higher-education elderly population.In the group activities, the author found that "social workers + teaching materials", "team leader" and encouraging skills played a very good role for the development of group activities.Finally, the group activities achieved good results, but also achieved the expected goal, but there are still deficiencies in sustainable services, I also conducted a reflection and summary.I hope that through this paper can provide some thinking paradigm for this type of group work,which aims to meet the spiritual needs of urban higher-education elders, increase the experience of group work practice.At the same time, we calls for family, community, social public and social workers,departure from spiritual support, platform structures, environmental construction, helping people to help themselves this four dimension, unite together to build a high-quality spiritual life for urban higher-education elders.
