Research On Group Work Intervention In Spiritual Comfort Of Empty Nesters In Urban Communities

With the progress of economic level and medical technology,the quality of life and average life expectancy of the elderly are gradually improving.Therefore,the problem of population aging is becoming increasingly prominent,and the care of empty nesters is also more and more concerned by the whole society.In the context of an aging society,how a country views the elderly and how the elderly of a country views themselves is not only an important symbol of the progress of civilization in this country,but also an important measure of the country's comprehensive soft power to deal with the aging population.Therefore,increasing the social attention of the empty nesters and improving the social service level of the empty nesters have a positive role in promoting the old age life of the empty nesters.This study is mainly divided into the following four aspects: first,the author combs the problems about spiritual comfort of empty nesters in urban communities at home and abroad through literature research,and thinks about his own research direction based on the analysis of previous studies.Secondly,the author takes professional practice as an opportunity to collect data on the status quo of spiritual consolation of empty nesters in Xining y community through observation and unstructured interview.The author finds that the spiritual consolation needs of empty nesters in Y community mainly lie in the needs of personality respect,children's care,interpersonal communication,information acquisition There are five aspects of cultural and entertainment needs.Thirdly,in the face of the spiritual comfort needs of the empty nesters in Y community,the author takes the social support theory as the support,analyzes the necessity and feasibility of group work intervention in the spiritual comfort of the empty nesters in Y community,and provides practical and effective corresponding services for the empty nesters in Y community through seven group activities.Fourth,the author evaluates the process and effect of group activities.The process evaluation includes three aspects: the initial stage,the middle stage and the later stage of the group,and the effect evaluation includes three aspects: the degree of goal achievement,the satisfaction of service objects and social workers.In the process of evaluation,the author also summarizes and reflects in time,trying to make some reference for the future research on the spiritual comfort of the empty nest elderly in urban communities.
