| The aging of the population has attracted much attention, as China's urban population aging is more and more serious. According to the statistics from Ministry of civil affairs, people over 80 years of age in China will reach 25 million by 2015. Many scholars are very concerned about urban elderly pension. Although there are a series of research on the elderly, the spiritual comfort of the city elderly is often ignored. Through the analysis of a group of elderly group work on community N, the focus of this article is on the spiritual comfort problem of the urban elderly, aiming to explore the effect of working group's intervention in the spiritual demand of the urban elderly.This study uses interviews, participant observation, questionnaire data collection method, and practice method, which is based on group work to analyze the elderly in this group. Firstly, the author is going to figure out the most urgent needs of the elderly by questionnaire and interview. Secondly, the goal is to develop five stages of intervention. There are to meet new friends, to make friends, to build up trust; to offer spiritual care and body care: to focus on mental health and physical health; to relieve negative emotions, to improving the comfort ability; to improve the family support system. Finally, combined with the views of workers, supervisors, observers, family members and service objects, the process and results of the activity satisfaction scale were used. Drawing a conclusion that the involvement of the working group on the community elderly spiritual consolation question exists some limitations, but in improving the elderly spiritual outlook, enriching spiritual life of the elderly is effective. Thus it provides the actual combat experience for the social work intervention in the field of urban elderly spiritual comfort. |
