Mind mapping is more and more widely used in the field of teaching, which is based on constructivism learning theory, learning theory of multiple intelligences, pyramid and SOLO classification evaluation theory, combining scattered knowledge. It combines fragmented knowledge to form an orderly knowledge network.This study introduces Barzun Toni’s mind map theory into the history teaching in senior high school, and tries to use the mind map review guidance unit. It is mind mapping that implements the student main body status though changing the traditional learning strategy,that enhances memory effect and improves the efficiency of historical review by guiding students to reconstruct the knowledge system through the complex system of knowledge points, and that realizing the optimization of classroom teaching through improving teacher’s professional quality and promoting teaching learning.This paper makes a deep research on the application value of unit mind mapping in the review of the high school history through the literature method, observation method and action research method.The full text is divided into five parts. The first part: introduction. This part expounds the background and significance of the selected topic, research ideas and research framework of paper. The second part: the overview and theoretical analysis of mind mapping which includes constructivism learning theory, multiple intelligences learning theory, learning Pyramid theory and SOLO classification and evaluation theory. The third part: the feasibility analysis of mind mapping in the high school history teaching application which makes a feasibility analysis on review historical mode through mind mapping theory from the historical knowledge structure features, production methods, review tools and teaching strategies. The fourth part: the application of mind maps in high school history review. Making an optimizing the unit review strategy from the perspectives of application. The fifth part: conclusion which includes the summary and reflection of the full text.
