Mind mapping is a new century revolutionary thinking tool based on the concept of schema,constructivist theory, change the traditional linear mode of thinking, the way of knowledgethrough visual characterization to help students organize knowledge and information processing,can effectively train students imagination and divergent thinking, stimulate the enthusiasm ofstudents, improve learning efficiency. Application in the field of foreign education morecommon, and our research on mind maps late start, mainly in terms of introduction to thetheory of applied research geography is also relatively small.Multi-disciplinary high school, and the contents of large branches of knowledge has adifferent depth settings determine the status of the college entrance examination scores can notbe compared to high school geography Yushu Wai, in the after-school time students do not havemuch time to learn geography and geography numerous and fragmented knowledge, logiccomprehensive, which requires geography teachers must have a good ways and means toimprove the efficiency of classroom forty-five minutes. Mind mapping can be used as aneffective way to introduce the teaching of all aspects of teaching, along with other means topromote the improvement of teaching.This study explored the teaching of high school geography review, how to use mindmapping strategies for teaching thinking as a teaching guide for teachers on how to demonstratescientific knowledge intrinsically linked picture, thinking of how to teach students to learn howinnovative thinking in divergent thinking on the basis of effective and efficient review, how toguide students in self-construction of knowledge, clarify the logical relationship betweenknowledge, optimize the integration of learning content and flexible and effective to solvepractical problems, in order to comply with the requirements of curriculum reform, studentsdivergent thinking and innovation.Paper includes the following aspects: firstly discusses the background of this research, thepurpose and significance, briefly describes the research status and trends at home and abroad, aswell as a method to study the use of mind mapping. Second, the concept of mind mapping tointerpret, to be divided from the perspective of the geographical structure of the divergence angleof thinking and interdisciplinary subjects, and discusses the theoretical basis of theirpsychological basis. The third part of the review of teaching high school geography based on thetype of research and the role of the mind map of the division, including the review of the fourtypes and geographical characteristics, mindmaps seven different role in the review stage. Thefourth part is the typical geographical knowledge of the design and application of mind mappingcase study, combined with the natural geography human geography focused knowledgemindmaps design, teaching fifth part of the experimental research, including the developmentplan, the research process, the study results evaluation and analysis. And finally the conclusionand reflection in order to improve teaching and research in the future.Theory and practice show that mind mapping has sort of knowledge to build systems to guidestudents to understand the geographical concept, stimulate students’ divergent thinking, etc.Geographically review stage, which will help improve the efficiency of learning, teachers in theclassroom and more opportunities to give guidance, to encourage students bold practice, trial anderror in the actual teaching experience, improve teaching efficiency.
