Compared with junior high school,the coverage of geography knowledge in senior high school is more extensive,and the types of geographic images are rich and diverse.The key point of geography teaching in senior high school is how to help students to build the complex knowledge into a systematic knowledge system and how to interpret the geographical images clearly and accurately.As an important tool for teachers to help students sort out their thoughts,effectively memorize and master knowledge in the teaching process,mind mapping can not only exercise students' divergent thinking,but also further visualize divergent thinking and present abstract ideas in the brain through words and graphics.Through many years of teaching process of geography review in Senior Three,the author has made a thorough practical research on the application of mind mapping in geography review in Senior Three through literature survey,classroom teaching practice and interview.The third grade geography review is divided into three categories: preparatory review,summative review and exercise review.Different mind mapping strategies are adopted for these three types of review.In the preparatory review,the key concepts are emphasized,the basic knowledge is fully consolidated,the connection of knowledge and the summary of topics are emphasized in the stage of summative review.In the "exercises review" stage,we should pay attention to the knowledge review,return to the basic knowledge review through exercises,and also pay attention to the collation of error-prone knowledge points.After one year's practice,the students' core qualities of geography,such as comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical practice ability,have been greatly improved.The full text is mainly composed of the following parts: the first part introduces the current research background and the significance of the research,expounds the research results of mind mapping at home and abroad,and indicates the research purpose,content and methods of this paper.The second part defines the relevant concepts,elaborates the theories used,and introduces the concepts and applications of mind mapping.The third part is the main body of this paper,which describes the methods and steps of mind map construction,and carries out a detailed case analysis.The fourth part summarizes the advantages and precautions of applying mind map in geography review in senior three.The fifth part is the summary of this paper,pointing out the shortcomings of this research,and the future development of this research direction is expected.
