The Reaserch Of The Influence On Students’ Gregariousness Of Basketball-Class In Stadium Road Elementary Schools In Beijing

Among all the extracurricular activities, basketball is becoming more and more popular with primary and middle school students of all ages. Basketball, as a gregarious item, what influences on earth does it have on students? In this thesis, literature material method, questionnaire, survey method, mathematical statistics method and interview method are used. Students of Grade Four, Five and Six in Stadium Road Elementary School in Beijing were carried on the questionnaire survey and physical tests. Besides, in order to know more about the current situations and effects of basketball interest lessons, we interviewed some students, parents, P.E. teachers and experts, thus to provide theoretical basis for the basketball activities carried out in the future. The results show that:1. The sports activity “One Hour after Class” is widely carried out in Stadium Road Elementary School in Beijing. More than 5 items are designed, of which basketball interest lessons are the most popular. The number of participants during each semester is around 100. Under the support of “Universities involved in primary school teaching ” project, the number of participants of basketball interest lessons in each semester is rising in a sharp trend.2. Basketball interest lessons are enjoying great popularity. However, because of the lack of teachers, space, the process of basketball interest lessons can only be limited in a certain range.3. Compared with the theoretical probability, the gregariousness of the students in Stadium Road Elementary School in Beijing in both low and high marks is slightly lower. By contrast, the reason for this phenomenon may due to the age, gender, family relations or whether he or she is the one-child or not, while the effect of transferring factor is not obvious.4. By contrast, as basketball is a gregarious sports item or for other reasons, the students who attend the basketball interest lessons are more active in activities than other students.5. Through comparison and analysis, attending the basketball interest lessons has positive effects on the physical tests of 50-meter-race in 1min, skipping in 1min, sit-ups, while its influences on Sit and Reach and lung capacity are not obvious.Corresponding countermeasures:Strengthen the improvement of hardware and software facilities, seize the opportunity of “ Universities involved in primary school teaching ”project, enhance the cooperation with The Capital University of Physic Education and Sports. Besides knowledge teaching, at the same time, we should pay more attention to the personality characteristics of the students. Moreover, we should focus on the cultivation of students’ interest and gregariousness.
