With the development of modern society,people begin to attach importance to the development of sports,especially basketball.Childhood is the most important time to form habits,so we should pay more attention to basketball training.The theory of periodic training is that there is a periodic organizational training process in the training.The most important thing in basketball training is to have a reasonable periodicity.The main content of the theory and method of periodic training is the training mode based on periodicity.Based on this,this chapter summarizes some applications in children’s basketball training by analyzing the content of the theory of periodic training In order to enrich children’s basketball training theory and provide reference for children’s basketball training.Conclusion:(1)Small period plate training mode plays a significant role in the physical quality training of children’s basketball.This method can obviously improve the physical quality and learning interest of students,and has a very broad application prospect.(2)The application of small cycle plate training mode in the whole training process can scientifically control the training process of children,making the whole training process more scientific and targeted,which is effective for improving the performance of basketball technology evaluation and children’s interest in learning.(3)The application of periodic training theory can improve the training efficiency of children’s various physical qualities,which is of positive significance for improving children’s physical qualities.Suggestions:(1)Due to the particularity of children’s physical and mental development,it is particularly important to determine the goals and tasks of each stage in training.Scientific and reasonable training plans should be formulated to arrange the training plates and cycles.Only with a clear training goal can students’ rapid development be better promoted.(2)In the specific implementation process,we should pay attention to the individual differences,training conditions and physical conditions of students,adjust the training load and load intensity in time,and conduct scientific training to avoid over training(3)The content of physical quality training should be set according to the state of mind of children at that time.It should be based on basic physical activities ratherthan high technical requirements.(4)All courses need to be arranged reasonably,and each small training stage needs to be related to each other.
