Objective:To compare the effects of square dance and Tai Chi Chuan on the characteristics of walking in the elderly women and the differences between the two walking patterns of lower limb movement biomechanics. Methods:Using high-speed infrared motion capture system Qualisys,3-D force platform Kistler and EMG acquisition and analysis system Meg Win for simultaneous testing, collecting and analyzing related data effectively. Firstly using the SPSS17.0 to compare two speed square dance and Tai Chi group respectively with no physical exercise group through independent samples t test, followed by each group of people in constant speed and fast walking mode of paired samples t test.Results:① Constant speed:NE group and SD group in RKM, RPM, vastus medialis vacated period, the vastus lateralis muscle vacated and shares biceps muscle support early significant differences in walking speed, stride length and walking cycle, RKV, RPA, RPV, shares medialis support phase and rectus femoris support late and flight period exist significant differences; NE group and TC group in the RPV, the vastus medialis muscle pre brace, rectus femoris support late and vacated, biceps femoris vacated and gastrocnemius muscle support phase difference,RAM, RKM, RPM, rectus femoris in supporting early and gastrocnemius flight period of the existence of significant differences.② Fast state:NE group and SD group in the RKV, shares the medial muscle support late and vastus lateralis in supporting significant difference between prophase and RAA, RKA, RPA, RPV, RPM and vastus lateralis in flight period exist significant differences; NE group and TC group in the RPV, the vastus medialis muscle vacated period, femoral rectus stay late and vastus lateralis muscles support the latter, biceps femoris vacated and gastrocnemius muscle support later significant difference. In the RAM, RKM, RPM, rectus femoris early support and vacated and gastrocnemius flight period of the existence of significant differences.③Two speeds:NE and TC group in stride length and walking speed, stride length and walking cycle, RKA, RPA, RAV, RKV, RPV, GRFmax, RAM and RKM there were extremely significant difference; SD group have significant difference between RAA, RKM, in stride length and walking speed, stride length and walking cycle, RKA, RPA, RKV, RPV, RAM and GRFmax exist significant differences; EMG aspects in addition to the SD group in the tibialis anterior muscle pre brace difference is not large, other indexes were significantly different.Conclusions:1、Elderly women stride change is mainly affected by age, and whether to participate in physical exercise is not much relationship, and older women through long-term square dance movement gradually formed high frequency, fast pace, walking characteristics of short period.2、Long square dance exercise compared with the improvement of the lower limb joint activities in the elderly women more advantages, and long-term Taijiquan exercise in the elderly women to enhance the effect of lower limb muscle strength.3、Long square dance sport is conducive to improving the muscles of the elderly women’s thigh muscles to raise the effect, and long-term Tai Chi exercise so that the elderly women’s femoral rectus, two muscle and gastrocnemius muscle and the role of the gastrocnemius muscle.
