Research purposes:on the basis of "scientific walking programs, ten kinds of methods" composed by Zhao Rongfu the elderly accepted the fixed training the elderly, and measured specific indicators belonging to all sorts of body morphology, physiology, physical fitness, in accordance with the National Physique measurement standards issued by the State Sports General Administration, both before and after testing. With strict data processing, settling the constitution changes among the elderly before and after the test, which further proved the effects of ten ways of scientific walking movement on the elderly constitution. The research also provides the reference for extensive promotion and popularization of scientific walking movement in ten ways "of scientific and reasonable physical exercise for the elderly.Subjects:1) the elderly, whose ages ranging from60to70, being able to walk all alone;2) not to be limited to exercise by doctor;3) make sure that subjects are only training as told;4) not to take medicine to affect the test results. There are83volunteers qualified for the test, including males are46, and females are37. Via the questionnaire named "a survey for the elderly health and exercise situation launched by the national physique survey center in ZheJiang Province", after visit and negotiation,127subjects, from Jianggan District Caihe street17communities, are picked out to voluntarily participate in a21-week exercise.According to the difference of age and gender, the elderly are divided into8groups; some one is responsible for a group to organize the exercise. The place to exercise is in community activity center and Caihe Middle School. Each group, with a stereo, used15-minute music to control practice time of ten kinds of moves, that is to say, each move spends1.5minute. The amount of exercise is three times per week;60min per time, each exercise repeats three times, each time lasts15minutes, and then has a5-minute rest. The heart rate in move controlled by telemetering heart rate watch and self-feelings are used to weigh exercise intensity. Heart rate during exercise is controlled among (220-age) x (70%-80%).Above the experiments are arranged to measure in cultural and sports center in Jianggan District, relative equipments are following:lung capacity tester, grip strength tester, Sit and Reach tester, eyes closed and one leg tester, sphygmomanometer, joint angle Miriam, Korea imported Inbody720body composition analyzer, bone density tester, stopwatch, scale, provided by the Experimental Center of Hangzhou Normal University College of Physical Education and Health Academy. In order to more clearly recognize the effect of scientific walking movement ten ways on the physical condition of the elderly, in accordance with the provisions of the "National Physical Fitness Evaluation Standards"(older section),20indicators testified by the large number of studies, belonging to respectively body shape selected class, physical fitness classes, physical function class, assess physical condition change of the elder before and after the intervention. Using independent samples T test to analyze the physical changes in the subjects before and after exercise, which will verity the impact of the "scientific walking movement ten ways on the elderly physical condition, and thus those walking ways could be developed.
