| With a nine straight victories Chinese Men`s basketball team got the twenty-eighth Asian Basketball Championship golden medal, China men`s basketball athletes had been through nine bloody battles in only eleven days and once again with the national people`s best wishes they stood on the highest stage of the Asian men`s basketball championship. All of the people in our country are so proud and the Chinese men`s basketball athletes also released pressure deep in their heart. The Chinese men`s basketball team had broken the worst record over and over in the last few years which made them so embarrassed.In the face of huge pressure none of the athletes and couches retreated, on the contrary they proved themselves with a nine straight wins.There are 121 turnovers of Chinese basketball team,which is 22 times more than Philippines basketball team and 13 times more than Japanese basketball team.More worse,when Chinese men`s basketball team were facing some weak teams there were much more turnovers of this team,for example,we got 19 turnovers in the game to Kazakhstan,and 14 turnovers in the game to Singapore.all the situations above reflected that turnovers are the problem can not be ignored.In addition,the results of this paper has also shown that the Chinese team still existed some problems on turnover, such as:(1) the average turnovers of guards and centers are too high but assist/turnover data of Chinese guards occupy a certain advantage. there are too many turnovers made by the guards in the third quarter and by the centers in the second quarter;(2) Most of the turnovers of the four teams are mainly occurred in 1 area and 2area, For the Chinese team turnovers in 1 area are much more than 2 area`s, offensive fouls are a big problem for Chinese team forwards in 1 area;(3)Chinese team had a huge problem of turnovers in the second and third quarters,especially the problem of t passing and catching turnovers in second and third quarter and offensive fouls in second quarter. All the situation above reflected the problem Chinese team had faced in turnovers.To be a real top team of the world the problem of Chinese men`s basketball team on turnover must be solved first of all.Through repeated viewing and download the videos of the games to collect all the data of turnover before of the twenty-eighth Asian Basketball Championship semi-finalists, and then compared with official data turnovers, finally collected all the statistics of the top four teams of turnover. Furthermore classified all the turnovers of the final four teams and dealt with the data by mathematical statistics and analysis.The main reason of Chinese team turnovers in the match was concluded by the quantitative and qualitative data resulting from data analyzed by mathematicalstatistics and analysis. Questionnaires of experts also provided opinions and suggestions for Chinese basketball team on how to reduce turnovers in the training and matches.The result, concluding from the documentary analysis, the interview of experts,the video watching and mathematical statistics and analysis shows that Chinese basketball player made more errors in dribbling and passing and catching, guards and centers made more errors compared with its opponents. According to the statistics and opinions and suggestions of experts, the reasons for turnovers of men`s basketball team of China in the matches, this research proposes that improving basic dribbling skills,the physical confrontation of players,team work drills,the players` psychological stability and coaching skills. |
