Early childhood generally refers to 3 to 6 years old preschool period, children at this age of growth and development is very rapid, is a key period in the development of the action. Motor development and people’s physical, psychological and personality traits are closely linked and affects the person’s life. Basic action including controlling action of people, the control action and mobility action, including controlling action in children’s activities in the largest share. Young children’s daily life, study, sports and competition is closely related to motion control, this period recognition they related movement skill learning and practice, for their movement is very favorable development in the future. Preschool age children is decided by its physical and mental development characteristics of they like to play games, and good at imitating and learn to play many sports skills, therefore, this paper chose to ball games as a teaching means, with big test of the development of muscle action object control points test score record for evaluation questionnaire, by the methods of literature material, expert interview method, experimental method, mathematical statistics and other research methods to explore ball games activities on 4-5 years old children’s influence on the development of the control action.Appearing in jingzhou city, hubei province experimental kindergarten class(2) and(3) in a total of 60 4-- 5 students as experimental object, the random(2) in the class of 30 children as experimental group,(3) in the random class 30 children as control group, by nonparametric tests, there is no significant difference between two groups. On this basis, the experimental group for 10 weeks of ball games activities, the control group in accordance with the normal class kindergarten curriculum plan. After 10 weeks, once again tested object control action of 60 infants, and SPSS19 scores of the experimental group and the control group before and after the experiment group and between groups of statistical analysis, draw the conclusion:1. Ball games activities can promote the development of 4-5 years old children’s controlling action, in situ bounce the ball, playing for young children, both hands to catch, fixed hit the ball, get started pitching, boccia movements are improved significantly.2. Ball games activities on different gender children aged 4-5 controlling motor development promoting role in disequilibrium. Embodied in: in situ bounce the ball, catching and overhand throwing hands scoring higher value-added women than men in kindergarten, kick, hit fixed rolling ball, score high value-added male preschool children than women.According to the results of the study in kindergarten sports activities attaches great importance to the children’s motor development, conform to the children’s physical and mental characteristics of ball games activities for a long time.
