| Early childhood is not only a period of rapid growth,but also an important stage of motor development.The games is a kind of activity that children like and an important way to gain direct experience.The sports games have a unique value and role in promoting the development of children’s motors.However,the literature survey shows that there are many problems such as the lack of time for sports games,the limitation of outdoor sports game venues,and the single content of sports games.Thematic sports games as a new way of game activities,more and more attention by kindergartens.In view of this,the purpose of this study is to verify the promotion effect of thematic sports games on the motor development of children aged5-6,and to provide reference for improving the development of thematic sports games for 5-6-year-old children.This study took 65 children from two large classes of a kindergarten in Lantian County,Xi’an as the research object.Using the methods of literature,expert interview,test,experiment and mathematical statistics.The children’s motor ability test(mabc-2)was used to evaluate the motor development.The experimental period was 12 weeks.SPSS software was used to analyze the differences between the experimental class and the control class before and after the experiment,as well as the differences between the two groups after the experiment.The results show that:(1)After the experiment,the paired sample T test of action development in the experimental class showed that: The eight indexes of coin throwing(dominant hand),bead threading,two-handed bag-catching,one-handed bag-throwing,one-leg balance(dominant leg and non-dominant leg),two-foot jumping and tiptoe walking were significantly improved compared with those before the experiment(P<0.05),while coin throwing(non-dominant hand)and drawing track had no statistical difference compared with those before the experiment(P>0.05).(2)After the experiment,t-test of paired sample of movement development in the control class showed that compared with before the experiment,the indicators of coin(dominant hand),bag catching with both hands,balance on one leg(dominant leg)and tiptoe walking in the control class were significantly improved,with statistical significance(P<0.05).There were no significant changes in coin throwing(non-dominant hand),bead threading,track drawing,bag throwing with one hand,balance with one leg(non-dominant leg)and jumping with two feet(P >0.05).(3)After the experiment,the t-test results of the independent samples of the test indicators of the two classes showed that the experimental class was significantly better than the control class in the six items of bead wearing,two-handed bag catching,one-handed bag throwing,one-leg balance(dominant side and non-dominant side),and two-footed hopping,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in coin throwing(dominant hand and non-dominant hand),track drawing and tiptoe walking(P >0.05).(4)In terms of fine motor,the experimental class had significantly improved coin(dominant hand)and bead penetration compared with before the experiment(P <0.05),but there was no significant difference between coin(non-dominant hand)and trace(P >0.05).(5)Aiming and grabbing motors,the experimental class’ s two-handed bag catching and one-handed bag throwing were significantly improved compared with those before the experiment(p < 0.01).(6)In terms of balance,the balance of legs(dominant side and non-dominant side)and the hopping of feet were worse than before the experiment.The difference was significant(P<0.01),and the difference of tiptoe walking was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)After the 12-week experiment,most motor development test indexes of the experimental class were significantly improved compared with those before the experiment.However,only part of motor development test indexes in the control class were significantly improved.It shows that the thematic sports games designed in this study have a positive role in promoting the motor development of children in the experimental class.(2)Both thematic sports games and kindergart-based sports games can promote5-6 years old children’s motor development level to a certain extent.In contrast,thematic sports games have a more significant effect on children’s motor development.(3)Three categories of thematic sports games at 12 weeks can effectively improve the development of 5-6 years old children’s hand fine motor,aiming and grasping motor and balance.In terms of intervention effect,aiming and grasping motion is the best,balance is the second,and hand fine motor is the last. |
