The fundamental properties of university is academic, it’s concentrated reflection in academic activities. And university teachers as the main force of university academic activities, on the academic evaluation is an important part of academic activities, not only identify the university teachers’ scientific research achievements, and regulated the academic behavior of university teachers, and then improve the academic level of university teachers. National university and in promoting the leading position in the development of higher education, in this case, to clarify the national university teachers in the academic evaluation system of our country’s academic career development have the effect of notes allow to ignore. Educational history research needs to be traced back, taking history as a mirror. Despite the academic evaluation system of teachers during the period of the republic of China national university of one hundred years of history, it can be placed in the contemporary society, still has its essence, to perfect our national university teacher academic evaluation system has a certain reference.Specifically, this study mainly includes the following five parts:The first part, introduction. This paper expounds the research origin, research significance, research methods and present research situation, and defines the related concepts of National University, teachers, academic evaluation and academic evaluation system. This part of the content for further research to pave the way.The second part, the evolution of the academic evaluation system of teachers during the period of the republic of China national university. At the time of the historical background to trademark the time point of the republic of China is divided into three periods, and separately introduces the various periods of Chinese university teachers’ academic evaluation system development.The third part, during the period of the republic of China national university teachers and basic characteristics of the specific content of the academic evaluation system. The academic evaluation system was described in detail in the main, purpose, method, criteria and indicators for four sorts of specific content, and further analyzes the basic characteristics of the academic evaluation system. This part is the focus in the study of this article.The fourth part, the academic evaluation system of teachers during the period of the republic of China national university’s main effect. From two perspectives of positive and historical limitations, the paper analyzes the role of academic evaluation, and selects the Peking University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences as the research object.The fifth part, to perfect our national university teacher academic evaluation system of contemporary enlightenment. The actual situation of the present stage national university academic evaluation system are analyzed, and suggestions for the improvement of national university academic evaluation system improvement opinions and suggestions, hoping to do a little modest force of the academic construction of our country.
