Literacy teaching is the emphasis of primary Chinese teaching. But in the actual teaching process, literacy teaching is always being affected by dialects in many primary schools. The influence of dialect is bringing many problems to junior literacy teaching. Doing research on literacy teaching problem in dialect area,can not only eliminate the negative effect of dialect, but organize Chinese teaching effectively, improve the efficiency of junior literacy teaching.There are obvious differences between Zhangjiakou dialect and mandarin. The characteristics of Zhangjiakou dialect are mainly expressed in two aspects:pronunciation and vocabulary. In terms of pronunciation, the differences are expressed in these parts: the lack of "zh" 、 "ch" 、 "sh" initials, special consonants "V", " "; nasals’ confusing and changing, special "zi" rhyme, special "ru" accent,confusion between Yinping and Yangping accents. In terms of vocabulary, the main differences are special dialect words, modal particles and word-formation. Based on these differences, using the case study method and the comparative study method, we can find out that there are many phenomenon of Chinese characters’ s misreading in literacy teaching of Zhangjiakou dialect----misreading of "”zh" 、 "ch" 、 "sh", misuse of "V", " ", special rhyme "zi", nasals’ confusing and changing. And there are many phenomenon of Chinese characters’ s misuse, such as the incorrect use of special dialect words, modal particles and word-formation.To solve the problems of Zhangjiakou dialect’s literacy teaching, we can use voice describing, comparative study, case study. Organizing the problems of Zhangjiakou dialect’s literacy teaching in two aspects----pronunciation and vocabulary. In every aspects we can described the countermeasures from two angles-----class teaching and extracurricular assist. In Class teaching, teachers need to choose the appropriate textbook first, then pay attention to pronunciation contrast,pronunciation training, spelling rules and context combing. In extracurricular assist,students, teachers and school need to work together to build a well, normativemandarin’s environment and change daily examination mode according to the dialect features, etc.
