In recent years,the survival of dialects has attracted more and more attention.Some scholars and researchers who believe that there is a decline in the dialects,hope to protect the dialects through education.But at present,most of the discussions are made from the macro overview,lacking further research and study on the concrete practice measures.Dialects and regional cultures are closely linked,and to protect the local dialects means to preserve cultural diversity.Cultural inheritance is one of the responsibilities of education,and Chinese education should contribute to the protection of dialects.Adapting dialects into Chinese teaching can be a way to protect dialects.In fact,their adaption into Chinese teaching is not inconsistent with the promotion of Mandarin.First of all,promoting Mandarin is a national policy and needs to be implemented.Secondly,dialects are not completely opposite to Mandarin.Dialects are influenced by Mandarin,and Mandarin gets nutrition from dialects.Dialects and Mandarin are mutually complementary to each other,and they can exist together.In addition,dialects could also be developed as a course resource of Chinese teaching.Therefore it is feasible to apply dialects into Chinese teaching.The problem discussed in this article is to explore the application of Changzhi dialect into local Chinese teaching.This article compares Changzhi dialect with Mandarin at first from three aspects,such as pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar,foreshadowing Changzhi dialect's application into Chinese teaching.Later,this article focuses on how to correctly handle the relationship between the promotion of Mandarin and the protection of dialects,and then puts forward some strategies for its application.There are five major strategies.Firstly,develop teaching materials of local dialect,providing a template for the introduction of dialect cultural curriculum.Secondly,apply the Changzhi dialect into spoken Chinese teaching,helping students understand the corresponding relation between Changzhi dialect and Mandarin.Thirdly,introduce appropriately some of local myths and legends and some dialect expressions into composition teaching,providing writing materials for students,and adding local culture for students' compositions.Fourthly,with the aid of dialects,we can help students interpret ancient Chinese better and appreciate the beauty of the rhythm of ancient poetry.Finally,we will carry out comprehensive activities related to local dialects,expanding students' practical content and improving their comprehensive language quality.In order to make the application of dialects into Chinese teaching better,we also should deal with the relationship between Mandarin and dialects,making them complement each other in Chinese teaching.
