High school classical Chinese teaching as an important part of the high school language teaching, with the inheritance of traditional culture, promote national spirit, train people in all round development and so on. In 2003,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "ordinary high school language curriculum standards(experimental)"(hereinafter referred to as "the new curriculum") clearly stipulates, let the students learn to read the simple classical Chinese, can use the comments and reference book to understand the words meaning, and read the article content etc. The time that the new curriculum standard is issued is a watershed, the original high school writings in classical Chinese teaching methods can not adapt to “the new curriculum” philosophy, and new teaching method is not yet mature, do not form a system,in the actual teaching process.In this paper, the teachers and students of Senior High School of Anhui Province Jieshou City as the object of investigation, with the two schools of classical Chinese teaching method as the research content,the time that the new curriculum standard is issued is a watershed. From the point of view of teachers and students, investigate the use of teaching methods of classical Chinese in high school, and compare and analysis the problems in the application of classical Chinese teaching methods. Finally according to the survey, contrast and analysis teaching method of classical Chinese in high school gain and loss, in order to promote the innovation of the classical Chinese teaching method in the same type of school at the county level, improve the quality of teaching classical, and promote the all-round development ofstudents’ personality. This article mainly from the following three parts to elaborate:The first part, investigate and statistic the method of classical Chinese teaching in Jieshou senior high school. Through the use of questionnaires, interviews and other methods, investigate and analysis the use of classical Chinese teaching methods,summarized the results of the investigation.The second part, visit investigation and statistics the method of classical Chinese teaching. Through visits, lectures and other forms, investigate and analysis the use of high school classical Chinese teaching methods before the "the new curriculum" promulgation.The third part, under the influence of "the new curriculum", gain and lost in senior high school of the classical Chinese teaching method. In Jieshou City high school classical Chinese teaching methods for sample, through the analysis of the survey results and the practical experience of the summary, points out the problems existing in the teaching method of classical Chinese in senior high school, and explore its merits, in order to update the teaching method of classical Chinese in high school at County level, improve teaching quality and cultivate students’ language ability.
