The Classical Chinese is the gem of Chinese traditional culture, so it contains very importantvalue. The purpose of learning the Classical Chinese is to make students study the knowledge of theClassical Chinese and the ancients’ fine culture traditions, the important it can carry forward the nationalspirit.The new curriculum reform demands new requirements of the Chinese teaching. The requirementsare that changing the long single receptive learning and advocating the independent, cooperate, inquire anddiscovery learning.The Classical Chinese teaching is a vital part of senior middle school’s Chineseteaching. With the implementation of New Curriculum Standard, the Classical Chinese teaching of seniormiddle school is constantly improving. However, at present, there are some problems in Classical Chineseteaching. students are lack of interest in learning; teaching methods are single; Under the stress of thecollege entrance examination,the teaching of the classical style of writing only focus on the learning oflanguage and letter. Therefore, it is in ignorance of the literature and culture.These problems seriouslyaffect teaching result of the Classical Chinese, and it is difficult for teachers to meet the requirementswhich New Curriculum Standard put forward for the Classical Chinese teaching.The comparison helps to utilize radiating thinking and improve learners’ initiative ability;Therefore,the application of comparative teaching methods by starting from the teaching reality is certainto improve teaching. This method is effective in practice and it has brought great benefits to teaching andlearning。The thesis can be divided into three parts: introduction, body and conclusion.The first part is the introduction. In the brief Introduction, It origins the topics and researches theprofile and significance of the topic.The second part is the body. The body consists have three chapters.In the Chapter1,it comparesthe definition of the methods of comparative teaching and the main teaching methods in classic poetry;The chapter2according to the requirement of New Curriculum standard describes the Literaturearticle and the situation of the classical Chinese teaching. And analyses the problems existed in the processof the Classical Chinese teaching and its related causes. In the part3, the author chiefly analyses the methods of comparative teaching in classicalChinese and give some examples.
