Chalk writing skills as a teacher basic skills are necessary to complete the teaching work of skills and techniques. Chalk writing skill is one of the basic professional quality of primary school teachers should possess, the teacher holding a beautiful hand chalk word, not only can attract students’ attention to enhance students’ learning interest and improve learning effect, and can also give students aesthetic edification.This thesis mainly adopts the method of questionnaire investigation, interview and case study method to analyze the problems of primary school teachers’ writing skills. On the basis of studying the theory of "writing skills" at home and abroad, first of all, the thesis defines the related concepts of "writing skills", "chalk writing skills", "elementary school teacher’s chalk writing skills", and expounds the writing standard. Secondly, through the investigation and analysis of the current teachers chalk writing skills training courses status is low, class time is not enough; Backward teaching mode; Such problems as lack of professional guidance, and teachers in the process of practical writing writing is not standard Chinese characters, writing posture is not correct, writing speed is slow, writing style is not unified, all these problems hinder the improvement of the primary school teachers chalk writing skills.
