| Learning environment, as the background where the learning takes place, is supporting and providing affordance for learning. Therefore, the learning environment should be dynamic changing together with the goals and contents of learning. And especially the way learners and teachers recognize it can affect the achievements and engagement.Physics teaching in middle school is important for cultivating the civil scientific literacy and aiming at acquiring the scientific knowledge, methods and attitudes. Scientific inquiry becomes the major way to realize it and in physics learning and teaching physics experiments are perfect for this purpose. In convention, we always think we should learn physics in a normal classroom and experiment in the lab, a room far away from the teaching building and used to store all experimental equipment.To solve the problems caused by the split learning environment on loss of function of physics learning and disequilibrium in physics teaching and learning situations, the construction of integration of lab and classroom is proposed, to guarantee the physics experimental learning and rebuild the physics learning environment. Based on the practices at home and abroad, the new design plan of lab-classroom as constructive learning environment is offered. And an example of physics experimental teaching and learning combined situation-experiments-evaluation together is presented and its positive benefits for cultivating scientific literacy is documented and examined. |
