Research On Class Teaching Design In 3D Virtual Learning Environment

3D virtual learning environment can effectively enhance or simulate the real-life teaching situation and awaken the learner's thirst for knowledge,bringing them a different sensory experience from the traditional classroom.In the process of applying virtual reality technology to classroom teaching,designers often pay too much attention to the fidelity of the situation and the richness of content,neglecting the thinking and design of classroom teaching activities,and failing to enhance the learner's internal motivation and meet their potential needs.Educators cannot combine the teaching content with the characteristics of the 3D virtual learning environment to achieve more ideal teaching effects.Therefore,it is necessary to thoroughly explore the classroom instructional design in the 3D virtual learning environment.In this way,we can further improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching in the 3D virtual learning environment,encourage more teachers to use the 3D virtual learning environment to support classroom teaching so that learners can obtain better learning experiences and learning effects.First of all,the research defines the concept of the 3D virtual learning environment,combines the 3D virtual learning environment for the technical support of teaching,and analysis of the status quo of domestic and international curricula cases and instructional design in the 3D virtual learning environment,and proposes research issues : How to connect the 3D virtual learning environment with classroom teaching so as to achieve promote and maintain the motivation of learners;how to rationally plan the various elements of classroom teaching in the 3D virtual learning environment to meet learners' learning needs.Secondly,on the basis of reviewing related theories and literature review,we build a classroom teaching model and instructional design framework in 3D virtual learning environment and apply it to classroom teaching practice.Combining the 3D virtual learning environment based on Open Sim and the Moodle learning website as the platform for teaching activities.Taking the high school information technology course "algorithm and program design" as an example,the teaching experiment is carried out.Research indicates that the integration of 3D virtual learning environment into classroom teaching can provide powerful technical support for improving classroom teaching quality.Learners use the resources and tools provided by the Moodle learning website to learn pre-knowledge;they can also use the modeling tools and scripting language of the 3D virtual learning environment to complete the learning tasks of the programming course and conduct interactive evaluation through the task evaluation scale and evaluation tool.Finally,through interviews,we understand the learners' and teacher's feelings and suggestions for implementing classroom teaching under the guidance of the classroom teaching model and design framework in the 3D virtual learning environment,preliminary verification of the usefulness of the model and design framework,subsequent research needs to be compared with traditional classroom teaching for better support and validation.
