The Research And Design Of Mobile Learning System Based On LBS

With the development of mobile communication technology and the further research of mobile learning, it gets more and more people’s approval by a new way of digital learning. Although the mobile education can achieve people anytime, anywhere learning needs, it still can’t satisfy people’s different ways of learning and learning needs of real-time situation, be unable to develop mobile learning model and improve the learning efficiency.LBS(Location Based Service) is that it can automatically identify the location of the user and provide users with the required Location related information Services, with the cooperation of mobile network and mobile terminal. LBS technology can perceive the change of the user’s situation and interact with user. It provides a new thought and method with joining the spatial location to learning resources service. In the 4G network and the rapid development of mobile positioning technology, the LBS service is becoming a popular application.Combined with the mobile positioning technology and the characteristics of intelligent terminal, with location information for the node, this paper designs and develops mobile learning system which is suitable for personalized learners’ needs. If it can be widely applied, it will greatly promote the development of mobile learning, and make an important contribution to universal learning and lifelong learning. The research mainly finished the following work:(1)This thesis proposes method of context acquiring and classification, the mobile learning model of location context awareness,design principles and scheme of mobile learning resources based on LBS and establish a learning community based on location. On the understanding of the context and context awareness definition, based on the classification of the existing context, the paper divides mobile learning context based on LBS. On the analysis of the LBS mobile learning resources characteristics, the paper studies the design principles, and build a mobile learning resources design pattern based on LBS.(2)In this study, we design mobile learning resource ontology model based on LBS, analyze intelligent retrieval and reasoning method and present design scheme of the mobile learning system based on LBS. Through the analysis of domain modeling method, this paper designs the resource ontology model and hierarchical retrieval into the context of the resource representation methods, in order to achieve the position in the knowledge of the context for the node retrieval. With the thought of software engineering, the paper synthetically design of the system from requirements analysis, business process design, resources integration, and interface design, client design.(3)The research develops prototype of mobile learning system based on LBS. This paper makes the daily English learning for an example to develop mobile learning prototype system which achieved in Android for the client and with a restful Web Service for the cloud services.
