Research On National College Entrance Examination Of Chinese During The Republic Of China

During the period of the Republic of China,the national college entrance Examination of Chinese not only is a miniature of the college entrance examination during the period of the Republic of China,but also the prototype of the modern Chinese college entrance examination system,the lessons are worth reviewing.With the deepening of reform of college entrance examination, Chinese subject status is more and more highlight, the related research of the national college entrance examination of Chinese has been more attention. However,due to the lack of original data, the differences between the research angle of view, the research point is still questionable.so,this article aim to study the national college entrance Examination of Chinese and related issues. In particular,combing the national colleges in the Republic of China and the entrance examination’s situation,the article focus on the development of the proposition, the types of questions and the content of the national college entrance Examination of Chinese.On the basis,this study discussed the closely related to the national college entrance Examination of Chinese:the Chinese examination rationalization, the language education and the exam preparation.The thesis consists of five parts:In the first part:mainly introduced the research origin,mining,the research status and the research methods.In the second part:mainly introduced the national colleges and the entrance examination in the Republic of China.In the period of Beiyang government,relatively small number of the national colleges,regional distribution is unbalanced,the overall development level is relatively low.In the period of Nanjing national government,the national colleges in the regional equalization,school internal reform and personnel training has made great development.Due to the development of the national colleges,as well as the changes of the right to recruit,the national colleges entrance examination has experienced the free examination stage,the program examination stage and the diversified examination stage.In the third part:mainly introduced the development of the Chinese test paper proposition in the entrance examination in the Republic of China.The proposition is not only an important guidance in the organization,but the basic reference candidates of passing the exam.Due to the constant change of the education policy and curriculum standard,the Chinese test paper proposition in the entrance examination showed the characteristics stages:the independent proposition stage (1912-1937)、the unified proposition stage (1938-1940)、the regulatory proposition stage (1941-1949).In the fourth part:mainly analysis of the types of the papers and content in the national college entrance Examination of Chinese.The types of the Chinese test paper proposition in the entrance examination in the Republic of China mainly were writing,the knowledge of Chinese culture,grammar quizzes,translation and punctuation,and gradually formed an essay-based,diversified combination of question; The Chinese test paper proposition in the national colleges entrance examination also presents three characteristics:papers rich in content,focusing on student’s comprehensive ability,exam content is both traditional and times;the writing has great flexibility.In the fifth part:discuss the three closely related to the Chinese test paper in the national colleges entrance examination,the rationalization of the Chinese test paper in the colleges entrance examination,the relation between the colleges entrance examination of Chinese and the Chinese teaching,the relation between the colleges entrance examination of Chinese and the exam preparation.
