This paper tries to research on college students’ ideological and political education to realize the ideological and political education from the empirical research to the system of theoretical research perspective transformation, the idea is to first of all, from the generation of college students’ ideological and political education on campus development starting, interpretation of the meaning and basic characteristics; And the theoretical basis of ideological and political education for college students and the status of knowledge for reference, then the process of ideological and political education for college students and its analysis for the cause of the problem, through questionnaire to collect the relevant information, this paper expounds the measures for related issues. During the study, attention to the problem of college students’ ideological and political education theory system to refine and sublimation, always focus on effectiveness of campus life on college students’ ideological and political education activities. Through the method of questionnaire survey, the author gained more than 200 valid questionnaires from Yangtze University College of Engineering and Technology, and made an empirical research, combined with theoretical research, this paper discusses the current situation of the development of Ideological and political education in Colleges and universities.
