Self-organization And Self-emergence In Postgraduate Education

Postgraduate education takes most of responsibility for training qualified people to meet the needs of the country. In recent years, new issues emerged with the increasing number of postgraduates. Especially, it becomes a big problem about how to improve the quality of postgraduates, which is urgently needed to solve. However, the theories of Self-organization and Self-emergence provide a new solution. According to the theories, we need to analyze the self-organized and self-emerged activities in the postgraduate education system, and then we can make some suggestions to improve the quality of the postgraduate education.Firstly, this paper carries out an in-depth study about the acting mechanisms of complex systems, especially the postgraduate education system. Besides, this paper establishes evaluation index system, including key elements of self-organized activities and assessment index of self-emerged activities. In addition, this paper uses case study as the empirical methodology, which aims at studying the acting mechanisms of the postgraduate education system. Finally, we succeed making positive suggestions to improve the quality of postgraduate education by the result of the empirical research.
