It is extremely consistent between the idea of the reform of teaching method and the differences in the implementation of the new curriculum, which is a modern teaching mode in full respect for individual differences of students on the basis of the implementation. The main purpose of this study is hope to effectively improve the sports motivation for students in junior high school through the implementation difference teaching mode, difference teaching mode for further promotion, generally improve the sports motivation of junior high school students, and the sports motivation of improving the indirect role in junior school students physical exercises and learning activities, and continuously improve the overall physical health level of junior high school students.This paper mainly through the research background, research purpose and significance, the domestic and foreign research status, research ideas and methods. First of all, define the concept of differentiated teaching and sports motivation. Secondly,discusse the main theoretical basis of this study: Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences; Bloom’s taxonomy theory; Babanski teaching optimization theory; the Piaget’s constructivist learning theory. At last, use the method of literature, expert interview, experiment, mathematical statistics and other methods to improve the teaching of junior high school students’ sports motivation experiment(January-2016, September 2015. Yangzhou Shuren middle grade(1) class(the experimental class) and third(2) class(the control class) as the experimental object). The experimental results show that: in the junior high school physical education in the classroom, the use of differentiated teaching mode can improve the junior high school students’ sports motivation, and improve the sports motivation of junior high school students in different teaching modes.In order to effectively improve the junior high school students of sports motivation, and continuously improve the overall physical health level of junior high school students, many domestic experts and scholars and front-line teachers have added to improve the junior middle school students’ sport motivation research team which. Although the use of more strategies, but the achievements are unsatisfactory. This research hopes to improve junior middle school students’ sports motivation through implementing difference teaching,it is a useful attempt on the teaching practice, and has a certain practical significance.
