| Experiments play a very important part in physics teaching at Senior High School.With the population of the new curriculum reform from in all parts of the country,the importance of physics experiment teaching has been re-emphasized,which has aroused the close attention of the vast number of teachers.However,under the premise of the same course standard,there are still great differences in the effect of physics experiment teaching between different schools in the same district and different teachers in the same school.The author believes that studying the causes of this difference and giving feasible coping strategies to reduce the uneven teaching effect is of great practical significance to improve the overall level of physics experiment teaching in senior high school.In order to study the reasons for the difference of teaching effect between different schools in the same district,the author takes the Wu Sheng Middle School and the Central Middle School as the research objects,and takes the eight test scores of each class at the same level of two schools as a sample to carry out the horizontal,vertical and two-way comparison.The experimental teaching foundation(teachers' strength,students' interest in learning,teaching methods,etc.)and conditions(teaching environment,teaching equipment)of the two schools are investigated and analyzed comprehensively through local investigation,questionnaire survey,telephone interview and so on.The results show that compared with the rural middle schools,the county middle schools have some advantages in the type and quantity of the experimental instruments.The county middle school is also better than the rural middle school in the practice teaching,which shows that there are more ways to get curriculum resources,the operating frequency of demonstration experiment in teaching materials is higher,and the use of multimedia is more widely available.From the point of view of teachers' strength,the academic qualifications of middle school teachers in countrytown are slightly higher,but the difference is not obvious.Most of the teachers have Bachelor Degree.From the view of students' interest,the students in rural middle schools are generally not interested in physical experiments,and they are very dissatisfied with the results of demonstration experiments.In contrast,students in the county high school are more interested in physics experiments.There are three main reasons why students lack interest in physics experiments: First,students have little time for physical experiments.Second,it is difficult to see and understand the experiment operating under the big class teaching mode.Third,it is difficult to combine experiments with life.Students like physics experiment because physics experiment is interesting and the methods of teaching are proper.In order to explore the teaching differences caused by different teachers in the same school,the author takes Wu Sheng Middle School's students as the respondents.The paper has made an investigation on the experimental teaching effect of different teachers(different experimental teaching methods).By observing the classroom teaching of all physics teachers in Wu Sheng Middle School of Si Chuan Province,their teaching methods can be classified into three types: Traditional Physics Experiment Teaching,Modern Multimedia Experiment Teaching and Group Cooperative and Inquiry experimental teaching.In this investigation,the author selects three representative classes and tests them about three physics experiment questions.By comparing the distribution and average scores of each physics experiment question of the three classes,it shows that developing students' experimental ability to conduct experiments independently,dividing students into groups for experimental training and dealing experimental data in the laboratory can improve students' physics experiment results,and it is also helpful to help students understand physics concepts and laws.That is to say,group cooperation and inquiry-based experimental teaching method can produce better experimental teaching effect.Finally,this paper puts forward some strategies to reduce the differences in physical experiment teaching.For example,in view of the shortage of physics experiment instruments in rural middle schools,this paper puts forward the solution to make up the shortage of instruments by self-made teaching aids.Taking the section of “the effect of magnetic field on the force of live conductor” for example,the author improves the teaching tool in the textbook,and provides opportunities for students to take practical experiment of “quantitatively exploring what factors affect the force of ampere”.The demonstration experiment which is not in the teaching material is added,and the expected teaching effect is achieved.Through the investigation and analysis of the differences between Senior High School physics experiment teaching in the county and in the countryside,we can learn from each other andpromote the teaching of physics experiment in the countryside and in the county. |
