Since the beginning of the reform and opening in 1978, the steps of urbanization in our country is accelerating, and a large number of rural surplus labor force to join the army of the floating population enter into the city. The scale of floating population in our country is increasing, at the same time, some significant changes have taken place in it’s structure, one of the most significant change is more and more people from the past "the single out" transform to the "family migration", population migrating presented "the family" trend. Accompany with the "the family" trend, more and more infants follow their parents migrate to the city, and the problem of infant’s family education is highlighted increasingly.The paper takes migrant of infant families in C community of Kunming as the research object. The research mainly center on the mother’s role in migrant infant family education, then sates the problem of the mother’s role conflict and analyses the reasons of it, and on the basis of it to explore the social work practice. At the end, some reflections and suggestions based on my own service process are put forward.The content of the paper mainly includes two parts:Part one is the introduction, which mainly includes the research backgrounds and significances, literature reviewes, the relevant concepts and theoretical basis, research designs. On the basis of summarizing about infant early education articles, the author puts forward its own research focus.Part two consists of four chapters. The first chapter mainly from the mother’s role practice in migrant infant family education to present the problem of the role imbalance. The second chapter from the view of The Social Gender theory and The Role theory to analyse the problems of mother’s role imbalance. The third chapter, under the guidance of social work theories, using the structural family therapy model to intervene two cases. The intervention focus on changing the way of interaction among family members, increasing father’s participation in the family education, creating a favorable family interaction environment. The fourth chapter is about the reflections and suggestions. First of all, proposing the intervention’s advantages of case work from the three aspects of concept of value, job skills, and theory model. Secondly, analyzing the limitations in the process of intervention. At last, putting forward some suggestions to improve the service, looking forward to helping the social workers to solve the problems of migrant infant familial education.
