With the advancement of education reform, "Scientific inquiry" engaged in scientific research is not only an important thought method, and the science education in primary and secondary schools, the exploratory teaching method has gradually become the mainstream. "learning by doing" is exploratory teaching important constituent, it emphasizes the students in the dominant position in the process of scientific inquiry. Continue to use the main ideas of science inquiry writing elementary school science textbooks, itis the general characteristics of primary school science textbooks that arrange scientific inquiry activity in the textbook.The materials are important mediators of the teaching process in the new curriculum standard, teachers should be based on the curriculum standard in the teaching process, use teaching material creatively and flexibly, Take full advantage of diversified curriculum resources, including textbooks, school-based resources, expand the students’ development space. This article from the perspective of scientific inquiry, from macro and micro two aspects of the comparative analysis of two countries elementary school science curriculum teaching material "in China " learning by doing "kindergarten, elementary school science education case and "the elementary school science education case selection", the main conclusions are as follows:(1) The structure of the two materials in this framework, content, drawing, the number of scientific inquiry activities are close;(2) The emphasis of the textbooks are different, the French version textbo oks pay attention to cultivate students’ scientific literacy and comprehensive skills, the Chinese version textbooks focus on training students’ life attitude of doing things and emotional values;(3) The activities of the two materials in this arrangement, compared with the Chinese version teaching material, before and after the French version teaching material has periodic, continuity and integrity;(4) In the practice of teaching activity, the French " hands on" is close to the Chinese way of thinking "learning by doing", compared with Chinese activities of "learning by doing" France" hands on" activity, explore the link more meticulous, explore the profound content is a little bit.Through comparative analysis of the characteristics of the two textbook, digging out their good qualities, in order to further improve the quality of primary school science textbooks in China as well as the education teaching methods to provide the reference. In the process of the specific implementa tion of science curriculum in elementary school, this paper mentioned the respect for regional differences, adjust measures to local conditions of the strategy in teaching is also worth considering.
